Where There is a Will, There is a Way

Work with what you have!

A couple of years ago our daughter Katie was so excited that her new home had a space out the back where she could grow a veggie garden. She soon discovered that it was so shaded that most of her plants struggled or did not survive.

Not to be beaten, this year she has planted her garden in large pots out the front of her house where there is just pavers but importantly gets the sun! She has acquired trellising tomahooks and string (from the shop of Dad), and her tomatoes and other seedlings are now going strong.

Have you got your summer tomatoes in yet? Do you need to be creative about where or how you plant them? I believe this old saying is almost always correct - “Where there is a will, there is a way”.
